The winner of the season four Big Brother Naija show, Mercy Eke, has denied ever dating Lagos auto dealer, Ikechukwu Ogbonna aka IVD, whose wife, Bimbo, died on Saturday.
Eke, who denied the claim that she was romantially involved with the car dealer said her only connection with IVD was car purchase deal which she described as problematic. She shared the receipt and videos of the Range Rover SUV, she bought from him, which she had to return.
Mercy who got emotional and teary-eyed during the Instagram live where she explained her part of the story, placed curses on those she said are bent on smearing her reputation. She also swore that of she was lying she wouldn’t survive 2022.
She revealed that she became close to the Late Bimbo who intervened when she wanted to take action against her husband IVD for selling her an ‘accidented’ car.
She said, “My name has been tarnished for the longest time. This is the first and last time I’m going to address this. The reason I’m addressing this blatant lie is because of the late wife, Mrs. Bimbo.
“These are evidences (sic) and receipts showing that I have nothing other than business transactions with IVD!!!”
Late Bimbo died of injuries sustained during a fight with her husband who has now gone into hiding.
