Less than 24 hours after his two-hour bombshell interview beamed on four major TV stations, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has jetted out to to Europe.
The dust caused by governor’s interview during which kept his promise to speak on the crisis rocking the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is yet to settle, but he has left the country for Europe.
During the media chat, Wike spoke on controversial issues such as the alleged senatorial slot offer from Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; what former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar allegedly promised him in London; why he wanted Senator Iyioricha Ayu to step down as PDP chairman, among others.
Daily trust quotes a sources as saying governor left the country for a yet to be disclosed country in Europe around midnight of Friday.
A source further told the national daily that the governor jetted out from the Port Harcourt International Airport in a chattered flight.
” Oga travelled last night around 12 midnight but I can’t say exactly where he is going to”, the newspaper quotes the source as saying.
