“I have signed the instrument of derecognition and he seizes to exist a former governor.”
Asked what will happen if Omehia doesn’t pay after seven days as directed, Wike said government had a number of options.
“But he (Omehia) has to pay or he challenge us in court. The Attorney General will advise us om what to do because the state government has a number of options to take.”
Recall that Wike on Friday, October 9 removed the official picture of Celestine Omehia as one of ex governors from the Government House.
The removal followed his signing of the legal instrument derecognising Omehia as a former governor of the state.
