Ajaero Leaves Police Headquarters

The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Joe Ajaero, has departed the headquarters of the Intelligence Response Team in Abuja.

Ajaero who arrived the IRT headquarters at exactly 10:17am and made his exit at 11.15 am after writing his statement.

The labour leader did not speak to journalists at the IRT headquarters.

He, however, said he would address the press at the NLC headquarters.

Recall that the police invited Ajaero to the IRT headquarters on August 20 by 10 am to answer questions on his alleged involvement in terrorism financing, cybercrime, subversion, criminal conspiracy, and treasonable felony. The invitation came after the police and other security agencies stormed the NLC Headquarters last week.

Ajaero, however, who could not make it, promised to honour the invitation today.

Ajaero was accompanied by Femi Falana, SAN, Marshal Abubakar, Deji Adeyanju, and some senior officials of the NLC.
