…Says Marwa made the right choice of a spokesperson
… Promises partnership
The Honourable Member representing Ado/Ogbadibo/Okpokwu Federal Constituency, Dr. Francis Ottah Agbo, has congratulated his friend and professional colleague, Mr. Femi Babafemi on his appointment as the Director of Media and Advocacy of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
Dr. Ottah Agbo in a statement by his Media Adviser, Mr. Andrew Agbese, said the chairman of the NDLEA, Brig. Gen. Mohammed Buba Marwa (rtd) made the right choice by appointing a seasoned journalist for the position.
The Lawmaker, who is the chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Narcotic Drugs and Spokesman of the Minority Caucus, said the NDLEA needs an experienced and vibrant media manager to ensure the public is kept abreast with what the agency is doing in the fight against drug abuse and narcotic drug addiction effectively!
Dr. Ottah Agbo urged Babafemi to approach his new task with the same zeal and fervour he has done in other previous assignments in order to complement the renewed vigour shown by the new chairman of the NDLEA in winning the war against substance abuse and narcotic drug addiction.
He said, “I know the passion you’ve shown towards assisting agencies you’ve worked with to succeed in which you maintained positive public image through constant engagements with the media and I would want you to sustain that zeal and passion in your new assignment.
“I have confidence that with the team being put together by the new chairman of the NDLEA coupled with the support my committee is giving the agency, the NDLEA would succeed.”
While promising partnership with Babafemi, the Feed Back Lawmaker averred that his appointment will breath more life into the agency because according to him, “positive image is everything.”
