Former finance commissioner in Bauchi dumps APC for PDP

The Bauchi State former  Commissioner for Finance, Garba Akuyan, who few hours ago resigned his appointment from the cabinet of  Governor Muhammed Abdullahi Abubakar  has dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) few hours to the supplementary governorship election scheduled for Saturday,  March 23.

Garba Sarki Akuya, who, before his sudden resignation on Friday, was the Deputy Director General of the APC Governorship Campaign Council in charge of the Bauchi Central zone has joined the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

In an official Facebook page of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, a while ago, the new development was confirmed with some photographs that Garba Akuyan is now with the opposition party

Yakubu Dogara said in the Facebook message that: “Glad to receive my brother Hon Garba Akuyam who just resigned as Commissioner of Finance Bauchi State and joined the PDP family in Bauchi.”
