As speculated, the National Executive Council of the All Progressives Congress was returned as national officers during the party’s National Convention held at Eagle Square in Abuja.
Professor Nentawe Yilwatda was returned as the National Chairman of the APC, while Surajudeen Basiru was retained as the National Secretary at the party’s 4th Elective National Convention held on Friday night at Eagle Square, Abuja.
Their emergence was announced by the Convention Election Committee as part of several party officials elected through a consensus arrangement.

The APC convention had Abuja on the stands still as the convention drew delegates in their numbers.
Also in attendance were top leaders of the ruling party, including President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas.
