Managing Director of the Niger-Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Dr. Samuel Ogbuku has felicitated with the people of the region at Christmas.
Ogbuku in a personally signed statement called on the people of the Niger-Delta to emulate Christ and exemplify his virtues in everydayg life.
The NDDC boss also expressed gratitude to Niger Deltans for thier cooperation in the outgoing year.
The statement read in part: “Amidst the meaningful merriment and sparkling lights of this festive period, I extend heartfelt felicitations to all our Christian brethren in Nigeria and the esteemed communities of the Niger Delta Region.
“As we wrap up the year and eagerly await the celebrations of Christmas, the remembrance of Christ’s birth serves as a poignant reminder to embody the virtues he exemplifies.
“The Board and Management of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, join me in expressing our sincerest gratitude to our dedicated stakeholders.
” Your cooperation has been pivotal for maintaining peace within the region. It is that very peace which lays the foundation for continuous growth and sustainable community development”.
He called for support for the Tinubu Administration saying : “This period is not just one of reverence and reflection but equally one of anticipation and assurance, as we support the endeavors of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. His unwavering support steers us towards the furtherance of progress for our cherished Niger Delta”.
He assured on an even highrr level of impact from the NDDC adding thaf: “With 2024 on the horizon, let it not be merely another year on the calendar but a landmark of evolution and progress for the Niger Delta. Under the vigilant stewardship of the NDDC, we expect to see the fruits of labor through numerous development projects reaching their completion for the benefit of our people”.
“It is the NDDC’s pledge to chart a transformative course for the region with fresh and innovative development strategies. As we revel in the spirit of Yuletide, let the act of prayer strengthen us, binding us to the divine grace that fosters national unity, peace, and prosperity”, he further said.
