Victor Osimhen Is African Footballer Of The Year, Asisat Oshaola Wins 6th Best African Female Player Tittle

Nigeria shone bright at the 2023 edition of the Confederation of African Football awards held in Morroco on Monday.

Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen was voted the African Footballer of the Year for the male category, while Super Falcons’ forward, Asisat Oshoala was voted the African Female player of the year for a record 6th time.

The Super Falcons goalie Chiamaka Nnadozie emerged the best female goalkeeper, even as the Super Falcons was voted the best women’s team on the continent.
